Xi'an, Oct. 29--Since Shaanxi Archaeological Research Institute had been founded 50 years ago, they have been dedicating to many fields, such as the archaeological survey, exploration, excavation and research work. The Institute also had participated in a number of important archaeological and relic protection projects. According to their surveys, tens of thousands of burial sites were discovered, and various types of precious cultural relics were excavated.

　　To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Shaanxi Provincial Archaeological Research Institute, on October 29, Shaanxi Archaeological Research Institute and some other departments organized a " Shaanxi Archaeological Discovery Exhibition "to show the results they'd found out since 30 years of China's reform and opening-up. Meanwhile, they invited many experts and scholars to participate in the "Archaeological and Cultural heritage protection Forum"，"Archaeological site protection and challenge Seminar", ect.
