The census staff of Cultural relics in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, has found a late Qing Dynasty residential house at Dazhao street office, in Sanyi village, Chang’an. Heritage experts here said, the discovery will be an important historical materials for the further study of late Qing Dynasty. Such as its construction style, construction technology, and the prevailing social situation of that period.
It is said that the residential area, which was flat rectangular shape, covers an area of 448 square meters.
Heritage experts believe that this is a large-scale residential area, which has structural integrity and was well preserved. Throughout the Chang’an region, it is rare historical relics. |
