Xi'an serves as an important train network hub for Central China, the Northwest and Southwest regions. There are daily trains from and to major cities around China. The train station is located in the northeast of the city, outside the city wall. The tickets office for foreigners is on the south side of the station on the second floor, and is open daily from 8:30 to 11:30 am and from 2:30-5:30 pm.
